SPORTS PHYSICALS & VACCINATIONS
On June 1 students can receive their Sports Physicals as well as a few Vaccines, if needed, at the Health Department.
Under NC immunization policy, ALL Rising Juniors without an exemption on file must have a Meningitis A Vaccine by 9/26/2023 to attend school. If a student would like this vaccine at the clinic, the permission form must be completed in its entirety(not just the highlighted sections) and Meningitis A checked off. Meningitis B is required for most college admissions and can be done at the same time.
Parents should check with their pediatrician to determine which other vaccines might be needed.
This is a good way to beat the rush in August and September if vaccines are not up to date.
